  • Work 40 hours each week
  • 8 hour shifts, rotating days/PM's
  • Every other weekend and holiday
  • Deliver meals throughout the hospital, working with our patients, families and guests to ensure a great dining experience.

Click here to learn more about your next career in food service!Job Description:Performs routine foodservice activities related to food preparation, set-up, delivery and clean up.Participates in cash handling duties. Maintains cleanliness of foodservice facilities. Provides prompts and courteous customer service.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Assists with food preparation and set-up. Labels, date and store food items as appropriate.
  • Processes patients meal orders, assembles meal trays for patients.
  • Follows proper portioning and safe food handling.
  • Clean and sanitizes counters and equipment; wash pots, pans, dishes and trays.
  • Assists with delivery of food to assigned areas.
  • Operates and maintains a variety of standard kitchen equipment; reports faulty equipment as necessary.
  • Performs cash and charge transactions.
  • Follows departmental and organization policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Knowledge and practice of good personal hygiene.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
