Summary :

The role of the CDL Driver( CDL Required ) for Gunnison Tree Services, a Gunnison Company is to provide support and assistance to the crew leader(s) in day-to-day tree care operations.

Duties include (but are not limited to) :

• Assist climbers by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials as needed
• Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are
• brought down in tree cutting work
• Lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the chipper.
• Keeping tools in the staging area and safe zone
• Assuring that all lines are kept clear at all times
• Being attentive to the crew leader's cues throughout the job and maintaining awareness of potential hazards
• Safely driving company vehicles to / from job sites
• Service truck and equippment. Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
• Maintaining equipment such as keeping chainsaws sharpened
• Operating heavy equipment such as a skid steer
• Tying knots and operating rigging equipment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements :

Must pass a background check and drug test

• Valid driver's license
• Valid CDL(Required)
