GVC Mortgage, Inc. is seeking a motivated leader to fill the role of Branch Manager in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a leadership role over all branch activities, practices, and employees.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for limiting branch expenses.
Ensure optimal consumer experience and escalate customer complaints to Compliance Department.
Reinforce respectful communication between branch and Corporate Office.
Ensure personnel have tools needed to perform jobs satisfactorily.
Educate branch employees, consumers, and surrounding community about best practices in mortgage lending.
Oversee marketing of branch to consumers and industry partners.
Ensure branch employees achieve objectives and resolve personnel issues, providing guidance when appropriate.
Educate branch employees on company and branch objectives and strategy to achieve the stated objectives.
Set reasonable goals with deadlines for completion and monitor compliance with such plans.
Oversee recruitment of branch employees.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, and Power Point software programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Analytical ability to synthesizes complex or diverse information.
Ability to achieve resolution in a timely manner.
Ability to delegate tasks to other employees.
Leadership ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, remain stationary, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Close and distance vision is required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients, and the public.
