We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our Queens law office. We are one of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms. The right candidate must enjoy working with a dynamic and growing team.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in personal injury Iaw is a MUST.
• Proficient in assisting with pre-litigation tasks, including claims handling and settlement negotiation department.
• Capable of independently reviewing cases, conducting investigations to gather necessary information for cases where initial claims are unsuccessful, and establishing No-Fault and Bodily Injury claims as required.
• Assists the settlement negotiation department by double-checking prepared settlement packages before they are sent out and bringing any issues to the attention of the case manager and handling attorney.
• Answer some calls and emails from insurance carriers, although this would not be high volume as these tasks are primarily handled by a separate department.
• Requires minimal interaction with clients and medical offices, as these tasks are primarily managed by separate departments.
• Collaborate effectively with the team, including but to limited to client relations, claim handling, negotiation, and litigation departments to ensure cases are progressing appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Ability to occasionally assist in some litigation tasks if necessary. (Training will be provided to suitable candidates lacking litigation experience.)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
