Gwinnett Place Ford is Hiring a Parts Counter Associate

Are you looking to continue your career within the automotive industry, Gwinnett Place Ford is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person to add to our team. 

The ideal candidate will be proficient in CDK and have 2 years parts experience in a new car dealership setting.

Position Overview

The Parts Advisor or Counter Person is responsible for assisting all technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies. The Parts Advisor is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts. The Parts Advisor reports directly to the Parts Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• General Parts counter duties include parts ordering, sales, internal sales, inventory and stocking.
• The idea candidate would be organized with friendly personality, have exceptional time management skills, have the ability to successfully communicate with your customers and team, comfortable with a fast-paced work environment, and have a professional appearance.

What are the requirements for this job?

• A high school diploma.
• Two years' experience as a parts specialist at an Automobile Dealership 
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Additional experience in an automotive parts department.
• Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
