Cash-Wa Distributing of Fargo is the largest family owned broad-line food distributor in the Midwest, serving all or part of 11 states. We are currently seeking a full-time truck washer to support our fleet mechanics. This is a great entry level position with room to grow into a diesel mechanic or Class A truck driving position. Responsibilities:

• Wash exterior of semi tractors and interior of trailers
• Move equipment around yard as needed
• Wash truck windows and check tire pressures
• Report service issues to fleet maintenance shop
• Keep a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules
• Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance work, oil changes, headlight repair, other light mechanical work as required
• Other duties as assigned by Garage Supervisor

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Mechanical ability required; some mechanic work experience preferred
• Some computer experience required, must be willing and able to learn new applications
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Essential Job Functions:

• FREQUENT standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, squatting, climbing, stooping, bending, overhead reaching
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperature and weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally
