We are seeking Shop Mechanics with heavy equipment experience to join our Coraopolis PA team for immediate hire to service various types of material handling equipment and forklifts at our shop. This position will require the ideal candidate to work with limited supervision and must have the ability to work, think and operate independently. Must have your own tools. And if you happen to be an auto mechanic who is considering changing industries, we may have training options available for you.
Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and service heavy lift equipment (diesel, electric or LP fueled) to diagnose technical problems
• Determine required repairs
• Maintain equipment service records
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks
• Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturers' specifications
• Hydraulic and diesel experience necessary
• Strong electrical aptitude necessary
• AC electrical drive experience helpful
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check
