As a Parent Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting parents and families in developing positive parenting skills and nurturing healthy family dynamics and supervising visits.

Responsibilities:

- Provide in-home support and guidance to Families - Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals to create comprehensive support plans.

- Provide transportation to children to their visits and supervise the visit.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent

- Some Experience working with families, children, or in a social service capacity.

- Some knowledge of child development, parenting practices, and family dynamics.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise children in a variety of settings, such as schools, residential facilities, or community centers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care.
- Implement and enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline.
- Respond to behavioral issues and conflicts among children using conflict management techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to children in need, including those with behavioral health or child welfare concerns.
- Intervene in crisis situations and provide appropriate crisis management techniques.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers or child protective services, to address the needs of children.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage children and encourage positive behavior.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and crisis intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other professionals.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and work schedules.
- High level of patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children.

-Must be willing to drive 80% of the time

-Have own vehicle, car insurance and valid drivers license

-Willing to transport both children and parents in personal or company vehicles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
