SCHEDULE: Open flexible schedule/on call

Overview: H2 Lagoon Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Resort Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of our resort's pool pump rooms, filters, pumps, valves, tanks, gauges, baskets, and vents. The role involves monitoring machine operations, adjusting water quality equipment, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal function and safety of all related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot pool pump rooms, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect, clean, and repair filters, pumps, valves, tanks, gauges, baskets, and vents.
  • Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality.
  • Oversee and adjust water quality equipment to maintain optimal water conditions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, skimmers, filtration systems, and cleaning equipment.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards related to pool and water systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure overall resort maintenance needs are met.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide input on improvements and upgrades to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in a resort or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pool pump systems, water quality equipment, and related mechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
