Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineering Manager at H2O Incorporated, located in Lafayette, Louisiana, US. The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Leadership & Management: Direct and manage engineering resources (both in the US office and remotely in India) to design and develop custom products that meet project requirements.
• Process Optimization: Streamline and improve our engineering processes, driving efficiency and quality.
• Client & Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Travel: Periodically travel to other offices, such as Chennai, India.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that minimum qualifications and training requirements are met for the role, and adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be in or able to relocate to Lafayette, Louisiana, US
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a relevant field is required
• Engineering Field Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering field.
• Management Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience managing technical resources, including leading engineering teams and overseeing projects.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, project management best practices, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Experience: Experience with advanced engineering software, Six Sigma certification, and international project management.
