JOB SUMMARY
Ensures all quality programs, policies, initiatives and products meet the customer’s quality standards. Works in conjunction with others in Quality Department to reduce the number of defects and improve all levels of quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed quality inspections of products and their components at different stages of production. (Machining, Forming, Welding, Assembly)
- Performs and documents visual and dimensional inspection on products to determine conformance with customer requirements, technical specifications, manufacturing drawings, and applicable standards
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings including Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T)
- Measure parts with the Mitutoyo CMM & FARO Arm
- Work with the scheduling & planning departments to assist in expediting of parts
- Familiar with ISO 9001 concepts, practices, and procedures.
- First article and PPAP documentation
