Construction Positions

  • Construction Crew Leader - 2024-25
  • Construction Electrical Crew Leader - 2024-25

The construction crew leader plays an integral part in building and repairing homes. Lead groups of skills and unskilled volunteers and homeowner families in construction activities while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment, thus, developing and enhancing your volunteer management and construction skills.

  • Typically serve Tuesday – Saturday on the build site.
  • Assist with all aspects of hands-on construction tasks including, but not limited to, demolition, site prep, framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, roofing, finish carpentry and landscaping.
  • Projects may include new construction, rehabilitation, critical home repair and weatherization projects.
  • Lead small groups of volunteers and facilitate safe and positive experiences for everyone working on site.
  • Maintain site safety by adhering to Habitat construction safety policies, modeling best practices and guidelines, volunteer education and site monitoring.
  • This position will focus on home construction and home repair aspects of Habitat affiliate operations.

Administration Positions

Digital Media and Marketing VISTA - 2024-25

  • Research, develop and document a marketing and communications plan, including social media, e-mail, print materials, fundraising support, website management, local radio, and television.
  • Research, develop and implement systems to to accurately track and record marketing and communications plan-related data, ensuring sustainability.

Home Repair Client Coordinator - 2024-25

  • Coordinate existing programs to recruit homeowner applicants for the Home Repair program.
  • Collaborate with applicants to orientate them on the program and assist individuals and families throughout the process of completing the home repair application.
  • Work with the homeowner services staff to review and select individuals and families based on established criteria and regulations.
  • Track and collect demographic data of homeowners selected Working on an online project and task management system to track the status of the applicants.
  • Optionally, and with authorization of the Home Ownership Director, help repair homes alongside homeowner families as they complete their home repair program requirements.

Homeowner Advocate - Affordable Mortgage Solutions - 2024-25

  • Coordinate existing programs to recruit homeowner applicants for the Home Repair program.

  • Work with the homeowner services staff to review and select individuals and families based on established criteria and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
