The Senior, Accounts Payable Manager will provide day to day supervision and leadership over the Accounts Payable team while driving improvements in the payment process. This position will maintain and/or create standard work documents and act as a key liaison between finance, purchasing, and outside vendors.

This position is part of the Accounting team located in Loveland, CO and will be on-site.

In this role you will:

• Leads the month-end closing process.
• Records all accounts payable transactions.
• Follows accounting and tax laws and standards.
• Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.
• Builds relationships with vendors and colleagues.
• Manages and trains accounts payable coordinators.
• Hires and onboards accounts payable coordinators.
• Ensures payments are made accurately and on time.
• Creates accounts payable processes and procedures.
• Act as key liaison on AP issues for internal customers, external auditors & outside vendors
• Performing daily visual management
• Support internal and E&Y audits as related to AP
• Maintain SOX controls for the AP department

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related major is required.
• At least 5 years accounts payable or related experience is required.
• At least 5 years managerial experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a large public company setting is preferred.
• Must be able to motivate a team and have strong leadership skills.
