Role: Data Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ USA
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with line of business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather data for analysis.
- Analyze industry data to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues in personal lines property coverages.
- Develop data reports and visualizations using business intelligence and analytics software.
- Lead quarterly presentations with stakeholders to discuss data analysis results.
- Manage the data steward relationship with insurance carriers, providing prompt analysis of their data.
- Drive organizational change internally and externally.
- Utilize skills in SQL, Excel/BI, and communication to fulfill responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or related field.
- 2 years' Data Analysis experience
- Preferred: Experience in SQL, Excel, Python, VBA, SAS, and R.
- Preferred: Commitment to professional designations like ACAS, CPCU, or AIDM.
