Role: Research Scientist

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in bioinformatics, biology, computational biology or a related scientific discipline.
• 7 years of experience with a wide range of user research methodologies and techniques, including quantitative and qualitative research methods with Bachelor’s.
• 5 years of experience with a wide range of user research methodologies and techniques, including quantitative and qualitative research methods with Master’s.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry, biotech industry and digital healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and interpretation of complex scientific data sets. Skills in using software tools like Python, R or MATLAB are beneficial.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, work effectively in cross-functional team environment.
• Interpersonal skills and motivation to build relationships proactively with a wide, global network.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• A foundation in biology is preferred, this includes understanding concepts such as target discovery, NGS, small molecule discovery, large molecule discovery.
