The current opportunity would work out of our Greenfield, OH location. 

The Opportunity:

This position is for a Quality Engineer depending on experience. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Quality Manager. The duties of this role is to ensure that our company's products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying shortfalls, developing corrective measures and implementing quality control systems.

BACKGROUND PREFERRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field
• Automotive experience, preferably with Toyota, Honda
• Control Plan, Process Flow, FMEA
• Quality System Experience 
• Quality System Auditing
• Sample Submission process and components: SQAM for Toyota

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Customer product launch requirements
• Customer Quality System requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team building, Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Customer Relations
• Computer Literate

Focus Areas:

• Developing and implementing quality standards.
• Developing and implementing quality control systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
• Monitor customer portals for activity.
