Job DetailsThe Sr. Manager, Network Security Operations has primary responsibility to manage our global wide area network and security systems by supporting security applications, devices and network infrastructure. Manages comprehensive security program, data protection approach and processes, overall system and data access, and user provisioning process. Responsible for leading and providing daily management and operational support to a team consisting of internal and contingent workers and managed service providers. Monitors and assesses security and access - covering all external and internal systems, identifying system vulnerabilities, and developing remediation plans. The system security spans organizational and functional boundaries, to support unified cross-functional corporate system and information security while adhering to and following Haemonetics policies and procedures.
Essential Duties
Duties are listed in order of greatest importance. The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
Architect, design, implement and support solutions for Security, Access, Identity Management, User Provisioning and Data Protection across business systems and IT infrastructure.
Conduct network vulnerability assessments to identify system needs and remediation plans including management of implementation projects.
Development, implementation and on-going maintenance of security policies and procedures and integrates security and data protection into business processes.
Create business cases for investment in systems security and include business value metrics in architecture, design and implementation of security initiatives.
Management, troubleshooting and monitoring of firewalls, intrusion prevention / intrusion detection system, enterprise antivirus systems, log management systems and data leakage prevention systems
Monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs; denote anomalies and investigate or escalate security violations including documentation and reporting of events and preventive actions.
Develop, publish and utilize security and data protections standards and policies; enforce and audit adherence to published standards and policies.
Responsible to monitor and maintain the established departmental SLA's.
Create, document, maintain and publish / advocate vision and the business case for systems security and data protection including the identification of new trends leading to adoption of best practice
Establishes reporting metrics and methods to pull ad-hoc data, as needed
Develop end to end security and data protection process documentation utilizing global standard tool sets that serve as foundation for test scripts, training materials and business communications.
