Hai Hai is Hiring a Hai Hai Front Of House Manager Near Minneapolis, MN
At Hai Hai, we try to transport guests during their stay, to a place that is an oasis from their everyday life. After all vacation is just a state of mind. We are looking for an hourly Supervisor for the restaurant who can keep that vibe going. Hai Hai has been a vibrant addition to the Minneapolis restaurant scene for years now, and our leaders must be committed to continuing the warm and welcoming hospitality of our brand. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality, food and cocktails, energetic, punctual, dependable, positive, and comfortable with fast-paced food service. The Front of House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, overseeing front of house staff, making sure the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently, and meeting sales, labor and budget goals with the support and leadership of our General Manager and Assistant General Manager. FOH MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keep the Hai Hai vibe going by living and training the brand vision
Generate a restaurant atmosphere and culture focused on great hospitality
Have genuine care for guests, team members and the restaurant
Provide active and visible leadership calmly, confidently, and efficiently
Be flexible and accommodating with requests from guests and team members
Be passionate and develop a strong knowledge of all food and beverage menus
Maintain food and beverage quality
Learn, operate, and master an understanding of our reservation, scheduling, and POS systems (Resy, 7Shifts & Focus)
Take opportunities in the moment or pre/post shift to coach, teach and train
Communicate swiftly and appropriately to staff and management teams
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
1 years leadership experience in the hospitality industry
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with notable attention to detail
Ability to lead a team with strong decision-making abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dropbox
Knowledge and or willingness to learn POS programming, reservation, and scheduling platforms
Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
