Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. Haigh-Farr is seeking a Mixed-Signal Engineer to develop integrated RF, Digital, and Analog HW that meets demanding customer requirements. This position will push new technologies into real world systems and help expand our growing active RF systems product lines. You will be supporting multiple programs and platforms within our advanced product area by designing, developing, debugging, and integrating high performance Digital and Analog Phased Array backends.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of:
• Linux based embedded computing.
• High Speed Digital Interfaces.
• Sampled RF Systems and Circuit Designs.
• Digital, Analog, and RF test equipment.
• SMD/SMT passive and active electronics design and simulation.
• Design, Bring Up, and Debug of high density PCBs.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Embedded Linux and Mixed Signal RF systems.
• Sharp problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD SECRET clearance.
• Some travel may be required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Antenna Systems and Software Defined Radios.
• Masters in EE, CS, or CE.
• High-level expertise in embedded numerical C, SIMD, BLAS, and HDL
• Solid understanding of at least 4 of the following: RF, Electro-Magnetics, Fast Rise Time Signals/Busses/Clocks, Low Noise Amplifiers, Analog and Digital Signal Processing, High Performance Computing, Mixed Signal Grounding Techniques.
• High-level expertise in Linux and embedded Linux environments.
