Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting products companies in the US, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for its Outdoor industrial category. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions

• Management of the product lifecycle
• Solicit feedback from stakeholders to shape requirements and features of new products
• Conduct competitive gap analysis and develop business cases to support new products and line extensions
• Manage product portfolio, product sales, margin and pricing performance, SKU rationalization and product lifecycle
• Support marketing with content development and coordinate launch and training activities for both the customer and internal teams
• Working with Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with current legislation
• Provide sales support on technical issues related to assigned product line
• Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape and use this understanding to create product portfolio and stocking strategy
• Participate in industry associations and trade groups to further knowledge and understanding of the products and industry
• Provide product specific training to internal departments on assigned categories

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred
• Must have worked as a Product Manager at minimum two years
• Minimum (2) years’ experience in commercial outdoor lighting required – no exceptions
• Strong knowledge of LEDs, drivers and other relevant technology
• Advanced organization and time management skills
• Proven success in developing and implementing product roadmap, project management and using stage gate processes
• Possess strong problem identification, structuring, and solving skills
• Communicate effectively, either written or oral, at all organizational levels
• Ability to set and manage dynamic priorities according to business needs
• Self-starter, able to work with little direct supervision
• Must be able to travel at minimum 25% - domestic and some international
