POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Regional Mid-West Director. This is a hybrid role with remote capabilities, based in the Minneapolis, MN area. This role requires the ability to handle various problems with expertise and exceptional judgment while working with clients at the highest level within organizations. We are looking for professionals who can multitask and quickly adapt to client needs while utilizing active thinking and problem solving to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high quality, executive-level IT management to our financial services clients
  • Build and maintain trust and rapport with clients
  • Manage the client relationship as the equivalent of an internal Director of IT, Chief Technology or Chief Information Officer
  • Lead and manage a team of Senior IT support engineers
  • Drive the adoption of leading-edge cloud technologies
  • Design, implement, document and maintain clients’ infrastructure, applications, and system management tools and technology processes
  • Assist with maintaining clients’ cybersecurity, cloud, and high availability strategies
  • Translate complex technical solutions to decision-makers and end-users
  • Collaborate with other team members to find the best solutions for our clients
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Being the technical subject matter expert in specific technology areas
  • Willing to be a hands-on Director, leading by example by performing technical and end-user support to clients as part of the support team
  • Be involved in the Business Development discussions with prospective clients in the region

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15 years of technical IT experience
  • 5 years of direct management of employees
  • 5 years of proven IT leadership at a Director of IT, VP, or CTO/CIO level
  • Experience of managing relationships with executives or clients
  • Experience with Microsoft related technologies: Microsoft 365, EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Azure IaaS, and Windows Server
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices, including endpoint protection, DLP solutions, encryption, SSO and MFA
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to be on-site as needed, typically 3 days per week
  • Available to be on call once per quarter for one week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor level or higher college degree
  • 2 years of experience of technology within the financial services vertical in a SEC or FINRA regulated entities

SALARY RANGE

  • $120,000 - $140,000 Bonus Benefits
