Title: Human Resources Administrator

Classification: Non-Exempt

Work Location: Vero Beach, Florida (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time


General Function

The HR Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring adequate staffing levels, maintaining employee records, and overseeing various HR functions, particularly during the peak season from October through January. This position is integral to supporting the Florida team members and ensuring continuity in HR operations across brands.


Mission

Provide efficient and responsive human resources services to Florida team members, with a particular emphasis on maximizing staffing readiness for the company's peak season demands.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful recruitment and onboarding of seasonal and full-time staff to meet operational targets
  • Accurate and efficient processing of files, payroll, and issue resolution
  • Positive team member relations


Roles & Responsibilities


Recruitment, Onboarding, and Records Management

  • Lead recruitment initiatives for both seasonal and full-time Florida positions (job postings, candidate communication, applicant tracking)
  • Oversee seasonal HR Techs to optimize onboarding processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy during peak season
  • Perform all onboarding functions for the Florida campus, including orientation and training
  • Collaborate with managers on staffing needs, developing targeted recruitment strategies
  • Complete pre-employment processes and paperwork to expedite hiring
  • Perform timely updates and data maintenance in HRIS throughout the employee lifecycle

Employee Relations, Compliance & Support

  • Investigate and document disciplinary issues, providing fair and consistent resolution
  • Manage time tracking and attendance records
  • Address payroll inquiries and troubleshoot any discrepancies
  • Process paperwork for direct deposits, wage verifications, and unemployment claims
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Facilitate worker's compensation claims for the Florida campus
  • Serve as a point of contact for questions on HR policies and procedures
  • Serve as the safety advocate
  • Plan and execute engagement events for the Florida campus
  • Provide general administrative support for the HR department (mail, appointments, etc.)


Education
, Experience & Qualifications

  • English required; Haitian Creole and/or Spanish preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred or industry experience equivalent
  • Must have 2 years equivalent experience in HR or administrative roles
  • Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Understanding of HR principles and compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ADP system a plus
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during the peak season (October – January).
  • Excellent problem-solving, issue resolution, and communication skills.
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail

The peak season for Indrio Brands spans from October through January. PTO blackouts will apply in peak season.
