## Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our Firm in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, analytics, and team leadership.

Role Summary

Responsible for developing and maintaining public relations and marketing strategies to meet firm objectives. Oversee all public relations, marketing, advertising and promotional activities.

Job Duties

Visiting Attorneys and Doctors

From Hillsborough County south to Charlotte County, visiting attorney and doctor offices, engaging with practitioners, and delivering firm brand items, etc.

Social Media Management

Create and implement social media strategies. Management those strategies - posting content, engaging with users, and managing the firm’s brand, all while being mindful of the ethical rules associated with the practice of law.

Website Management

Grow online support base and traffic.

Manage and create the firm website content (blogs, etc.).

Meet with website SEO company to review SEO strategies.

Gather and report on website and other intake statistics.

Update content including removing lawyers, adding new locations, changing biography photographs as well as biographical content, and more.

Oversee creation of new website pages.

Content Marketing

Create and implement a strategy that includes online press releases, blog posts, newsletters, digital renderings of speech presentations, and more.

Event Planning and/or Management

Come up with event ideas, evaluate which sponsorships are worthwhile, and manage/attend events.

Document the firm's presence at events, conferences and speaking engagements.

Conducting meetings with past clients for feedback and referrals.

Competitive landscape monitoring and management

Watch what established firms are doing online, on television, in print, and do it better.

Promoting lawyers through speaking engagements

Search for and coordinate speaking opportunities including but not limited to continuing legal education seminars and other events.

Planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns on channels including paid search, etc.

Plan, run, and execute campaigns that deliver new leads and new cases. Look for advertising opportunities particularly print and internet.

Email newsletters and emarketing

Produce and publish mass communications with newsletters, email blasts and marketing campaigns. In addition to utilizing the firm database, assemble a list of contacts from every staff member and every lawyer. Segment contacts by their relationship to the practice (i.e. referral lawyer, former client, local counsel).

Referral Attorney Management

Keep a running list of our referral sources and thank them by hosting dinners or sending holiday gifts. Ensure that our law firm has a program designed to provide regular status updates to its lawyer customers.

Print Production

Manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution. Swag, etc.

Metrics and reporting

Track and provide detailed metrics and reports on how things are going across all channels. Monthly reports include:

Send referral reports to referring attorneys & firms

Send referral reports to associates on referrals to them

Track and report to summaries of referrals

Track case results to market and get testimonials from clients and blogs from them.- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation

## Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tactics including SEO, performance marketing, and analytics
- Proficiency in HTML5, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to the community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across departments

-Knowledge of southwest Florida and the legal community a plus
