Rental Operations Assistant

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Scranton, PA branch. Monday thru Friday, no weekends!

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform admin duties for Rental Department. Includes Invoicing customers, clerical work, and customer service.
• Acquire Certificates of Insurance for rental units, work with insurance agents via e-mail and telephone.
• Photograph new trailer inventory.
• Provide clear communications with management and customers regarding unit damages and insurance issues.
• Make outgoing calls to customers and vendors as needed.
• Update and maintain Branch’s social media as needed.
• Interface with the Rental Team, as well as other branch locations as needed.
• Comply with the Company’s safety program, practices, and procedures.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in a truck, trailer or heavy-duty equipment dealership is a plus.
• Must have experience in customer service.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, and able to handle multi-tasking regularly.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel a plus).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
