in Richardson, TX.Job Scope: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable PC Build Specialist who will play a crucial role in the onboarding process of new hires. This position involves a level of coordination and technical expertise, as we support over 500 different software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire PC build process, from initial coordination with HR and the hiring manager to the final setup at the new hire's desk.

In-Depth Responsibilities
- Engage with HR and hiring managers to obtain specific computer specifications and software requirements tailored to each new hire's role.
- Select an appropriate machine from our extensive inventory, considering the diverse range of software support.
- Build the machine using our specialized imaging process, ensuring it meets the required specifications.
- Install a wide variety of software applications, as per the individual needs of the new hire.
- Coordinate the setup of the PC at the new hire's desk, which includes:
- Personally setting up the workstation if the new hire is located in your office.
- If the new hire is based in a different office, shipping the PC and collaborating with the on-site personnel to ensure a proper setup.
- Experience in PC assembly, software installation, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with a broad range of software applications and the ability to manage complex software requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to handle coordination across different offices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or with a team.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
