Requirements:
Have a High School Diploma/GED and be at least 18 years of age.

Employer Notes:
We are a local non-profit, mental health treatment agency offering behavioral health care in a residential treatment setting. Our non-profit provides 24/7 housing and support to individuals who suffer from mental illness.

Duties:

· Weekly menu planning group with clients

· Ensure food and meals are in compliance with clients’ dietary needs

· Assistance with nutritional education groups with clients

· Maintain and organize all household items in accordance with food safety and OHSA

· Taking inventory of all household items

· Shop for all food and household items

· Alternative Payee for purposes of applying for food stamps for clients.

· Record, maintain and reconcile food stamps.

· Provide informal and crisis counseling as well as crisis intervention for up to 9 clients with severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment facility.

· Maintain professional behavior and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

· Maintain appropriate documentation of services for clients including daily log notes, active engagement and incident reports.

· Monitor and assure that the health and safety needs of clients are met.

· Understand and implement clients service plan and provide active engagement with clients.

· Dispense medication as prescribed and document accurately in MAR.

· Monitor controlled substances and document.

· Be able to navigate 2 flights of stairs during shift.

· Pull, push, and/or lift 30 lbs. repeatedly.

· All functions of house cleaning including following policy and procedures for biohazard clean up.

· Assisting clients or doing tasks for clients associated with ADL’s (cooking, cleaning, laundry, dressing, showering, appointments, etc.)
