Job Description:
- Provide exceptional guest service and exhibit strong salesmanship.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Assist management in supervision of the store operation, and provide strong communication with management.
- Create a personalized shopping experience that will gain repeat customers.
- Develop and train employees to achieve sales goals.
- Support new hire training and ongoing development of current employees.
- Recognize and develop employees to grow within the company.
- Have the ability to multitask, prioritize, run the sales floor and adapt to changing customer volume levels.
- Provide creative ideas for merchandising and displays.
- Observe sales floor to ensure a fully clean, stocked, and presentable store.
- Perform all opening and closing procedures.
- Follow all cash handling and sales procedures and issue register audits.
- Process and price shipments and back-stock extra product.
- Good Visual memory when merchandise is low to stock or reorder inventory.
- Manage staff breaks as needed.
- Tracking product inventory.
- Supervise store maintenance and cleanliness.
- Supervise loss prevention management
- Work 35-40 hours per week, longer hours and overtime during our busy season (August-October), will be required to work at times 6 days a week and up to 10 hour days.
- Must be able to work all Fridays through Sundays throughout September and October.
- Must have an ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business.
Job Requirements :
- Must have good attendance and flexible availability will work most weekends - this is a retail business open 7 days a week, and weekends are our busiest days.
- Will be required to check in and price incoming merchandise and check invoices for accuracy.
- Do accurate physical merchandise inventory cycle counts.
- Knowledge in trends of pop culture, collectibles, and apparel
