The opportunity : The IT Support Specialist - Intern is a key member of our IT team with exposure to virtually all aspects of IT operations and systems in a global corporation.

Responsibilities include:

• Frontline IT support for employees
• Procure, configure, and support server and desktop systems
• Support HR onboarding and offboarding processes
• Administer our Global Microsoft 365 Environment
• Mobile Device Support (Microsoft InTune)
• Application Support
• Support Avaya phone system
• System Troubleshooting
• Network and Firewall configuration and support
• Configure deploy, and support virtual cloud servers in Microsoft Azure

Skills, Abilities, and Qualities

• Positive and outgoing team player with a "what can I do" attitude
• Okay with trying hard, sometimes failing, always continually learning
• Expects to have good friends at work
• Adores the idea of working and interacting with a global employee base
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Work in an organized manner and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs (i.e., PCs, printers, monitors and any other peripherals)
• Willing to travel to other site locations if required (Chicagoland area)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure a plus
• Experience with Microsoft 365 required
• In addition to English, Italian, French, Chinese, and/or Portuguese speaking a plus
• BA/BS degree required or should be graduating within 6 months.
