The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Business Management, the Product Manager will develop and lead all commercial strategies for a product line supplied globally as polymer modifiers. This high visibility position will have ultimate ownership of the product line’s financial performance including portfolio management, strategic alliances, pricing programs, and growth strategy. He or she will have full financial responsibility for the product line, driving commercial strategies and leveraging resources to increase sales and maximize profitability. Based in the corporate headquarters in downtown Chicago, customer/supplier visits and industry events will likely require about 20% travel. Responsibilities will include:

The Requirements
The ideal candidate is a dynamic commercial professional with three years of experience in the chemical industry. Career breadth that includes one or more of the following: technical sales, product management, strategic marketing, product development, supply chain or other customer-focused roles is required. BS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical degree is also required. Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills are essential. We are looking for a results-oriented driver who wants to make an impact. Intelligence, determination, integrity, and respect for others are all important characteristics.
