Halo Land Management is Hiring an Administrative Specialist-Land Technician Near Canton, OH

Objective:

The role's primary responsibility is to provide ongoing support to Landman and Management, ensuring the proper execution of procedures and preparation of contracts, as well as overseeing administrative tasks related to the day-to-day operations of Halo Land Management.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Landmen with procedures and preparation of contracts, leases, assignments, agreements, reports, spreadsheets, lease purchase reports, and other applicable documents.
  • Reviews general, routine correspondence for signatures.
  • Updates and maintains databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
  • Sorts incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Reviews invoices and circulates them for approval.
  • Assists with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
  • Coordinates office events, meetings, and conferences, including arranging catering and logistics.
  • Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Orders office supplies and ensures inventory levels are maintained.
  • Assists with travel arrangements and accommodations for staff members.
  • Assists with internal records including organization and data entry.
  • Performs general office administration tasks such as scanning, printing, supplies inventory, and office equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures documentation accuracy
  • Concludes billing and invoice payments during month-end close reporting activities.
  • Assists in the preparation of weekly reporting.
  • Provides general administrative support to staff members as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Uncompromised attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and MS Office Suite.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred
  • High School Diploma required, applicable degree preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong data entry and meticulous attention to detail

Computer Skills

  • Working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for typing, writing, and using office equipment
  • Vision and hearing abilities sufficient to perform administrative tasks and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs, such as files, office supplies, etc.
  • Mobility to move around the office and perform tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
