Job DescriptionAs a member of the healthcare team, the Medical Assistant is responsible to assist in the examination and treatment of patients and to deliver high quality care and service under the instruction of the providers. The Medical Assistant will be required to perform clinical and administrative tasks such answering phones, patient check in and out, insurance verifications, rooming patients, taking vitals, administering injections, sterile prep and assist with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Strong back office office Experience
- Document chief complaint/medical history/update medication list
- Request/Gather all necessary data for each patient medical record (i.e. hospital/referring physician office/radiology and or lab records)
- Maintain a clean/organized work area including front office
