Hamilton Lane is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Finance & Accounting Team in Conshohocken, PA.
Job DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a high volume of daily domestic and foreign accounts payable transactions, expense reports and other general accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and easily shift between daily transaction processing, monthly tasks, and special projects. The position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure proper coding of invoices, departmental approvals, and accurate entry into the ERP system.
- Respond efficiently to vendor inquiries and ensure vendor payments are in accordance with vendor terms.
- Accurate review and approval of employee expense reports in accordance with the Company’s travel and expense policies.
- Interface with other departments to ensure quick turn-around time for invoice and expense report approvals.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required; Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of one-year Accounts Payable experience.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and a focus on internal “customer” satisfaction. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Aptitude for accounting and reporting systems required - experience with Workday a plus.
