Bradenton, FL based law firm is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Civil Litigation focusing on Construction Defect and Premises Liability. We are a small firm near downtown Bradenton with a great team of attorneys and support staff, serving the area for over 40 years. Our firm strives to reach the best possible result for our clients through integrity, honesty and care. We proudly support various non-profit organizations in the community throughout the year. Duties to include:-Drafting and proofreading of documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery-Scheduling & Calendar management-E-filing and service of documents-Document/file management-Various other duties such as copying, filing, scanning, assembly of exhibits, trial materials, etc.Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and proficiency in Word, Adobe, Outlook, and Case Management Software.
