2nd Shift Production- Monday- Thursday and every 3rd Friday -1 : 10pm-11 : 30pm or Finish

Line Worker- Volma

Places lids on the cheese for pressing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take Lids from Vat and put on Bowls.
• Slide bowls onto belt.
• Take empty baskets to bowl storage.
• Bring full baskets of bowls to Volma.
• Occasionally manually take lids from tote, place into barrel and dump into vat for use.
• Take plates from rack and load onto conveyor.
• Occasionally manually load bowls and lids on plate and load into press.
• Move full press into press room and add tags for numbering and time.
• Plug press into air line for pressing.
• Use computer to activate air lines.
• Take empty press into Volma for the stacker to discharge.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy.
• Follow all Safety Rules and procedures by working safely and ensuring safety of others.
• Follow all food safety procedures.
• Follow all environmental protocols as applicable to job to prevent pollution to air, land, or water.
• Follows all sanitation procedures and work instructions.
• Follows all continuous improvement actions and rules and best practices.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

while performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand sit and use hands to touch objects or controls the employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulders climber balance and stoop kneel Crouch or crawl employment rarely lift and or move up to 50 pounds while performing production duties specific vision requirements of this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
