Position Overview
Join Hamilton Staffing Solutions in Lincoln, NE for a 13-week contract starting immediately. This position offers a weekly gross salary of $2,611 with a tax-free stipend of $1,099 and a possible travel reimbursement of up to $600.
Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Open Heart procedures
• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• American Heart BLS & AHA (or ARC) Certifications

ResponsibilitiesAs a Cardiovascular Surgical Tech, your primary role will be to support cardiac surgeons during heart surgeries and similar procedures. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
Maintaining sterile fields during surgical procedures
Ensuring proper handling and care of instruments and equipment
Assisting with patient care and transport in the preoperative phase
Anticipating and fulfilling the needs of the surgical team during procedures
Additional Duties

• Completing required orientation sessions
• Adhering to facility and OSHA safety guidelines
• Following the facility's Unusual Occurrence Protocol
• Respecting patients' cultural and religious practices
• Upholding patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
• Demonstrating punctuality and reliability for all assigned shifts
