TRAVEL Register Nurse - MedSurg FloatLocation: Fargo, NDLength: 13 Weeks
Start: 07/22/2024Weekly Gross: $2,270.00Tax Free Stipend: $1,162.00
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hr DaysRequirements
General Job Duties. Types Of Procedures Required.Head-to-toe assessments, medication administration by a variety of routes, care plan formulation/documentation, wound/line/drain care
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Epic EMR, Accudose Rx, Alaris IV pumps, Philips vitals machines
Shift or schedule requirements.
Rotating days/nights (shift & schedule preferences will be accommodated as able but not guaranteed) EOW/EOH, no call
Floating to over units/departments.
All med-surg units on Broadway and SMCF campuses, including med-surg overflow spaces and med-surg status patients within the critical care units. Med-surg specialty units include oncology, general med-surg, trauma med-surg, cardiac, neuro, observation, medical behavioral, and innovations.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
Ranges from 24-47 depending on the unit
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
1:4-5 from 7a-11p & 1:5-6 from 11p-7a

- Min 1 year recent MS experience in a busy large hospital, min 200 beds. Previous float pool experience preferred.
- BLS - must be AHA. ND or compact state RN license.Resource Team - Float Pool - RN Med Surg needed to help in various units/locations in Fargo, as needed.
