Hamlin County Farmers Coop is Hiring a Grain Elevator Employee Near Hayti, SD

This position is open at our Hayti, SD location and also is a position open at our Hazel, SD location.

Position Summary

As an elevator employee, you will be responsible for receiving grain and loading grain trucks out, probing grain as it comes in, grading the grain samples, helping with the maintenance of elevator equipment. This position is a versatile position and will also be helping in other duties of the elevator operation including helping in our agronomy department.

Job Requirements

Class A CDL preferred, but can be obtained after hiring
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to; prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, climbing/descending stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered normal when required.

Pay DOE.
