We are working with a rapidly expanding commercial bank that is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join their Enterprise Risk Management Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting their second line of defense by utilizing advanced data analytics tools, creating insightful visualizations, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential risks across various business units.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize data analytics tools to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Create visualizations to represent risk data clearly and effectively for diverse audiences.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for senior management and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate risk findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure comprehensive risk assessments.
• Support the enterprise risk management team in executing risk management initiatives and projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of the risk management function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk analysis, preferably within the banking industry.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Understanding of relevant banking regulations and risk management frameworks.
