The Shipping and Receiving QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to established processes. The inspector will work closely with various departments to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilties:

• Inspect incoming products and materials for conformance to engineering drawings.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy against shipping details and other requirements.
• Proficiently use basic hand gauging tools for inspections.
• Utilize Excel to log and report inspection results.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies.
• Communicate quality issues within the system for logging and resolution.
• Meet required turnaround times for inspections to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Transport between the warehouse and main office as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
• This position is required to work onsite.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in quality control, shipping, or receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inspection tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with basic hand gauging tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make principled decisions.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using Excel.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Strong communication skills for logging and reporting issues.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Must have reliable transportation to move between the warehouse and the main office.
