Hampton Inn & Suites Beachfront Panama City Beach, a premier 182 room oceanfront property, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Housekeeping.

As the Director of Housekeeping, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach, excellent time management skills, and the ability to effectively delegate and prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the housekeeping team schedule, covering various roles including Laundry Aide, House Person, Room Attendant, Inspector, Runner/Stoker, and Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
Lead the training and development of new and existing team members.
Uphold and exceed the cleanliness and quality standards expected at our resort.
Conduct thorough daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas.
Collaborate with HR for recruitment, training, retention, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Lead housekeeping meetings and participate actively in management meetings.
Promote a culture of proactive problem-solving and high standards among the housekeeping team.
Manage the safe use, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
Advocate and enforce the resort’s safety and security policies.
Handle daily operational tasks, including room inspections and cleaning, coordinating with maintenance for room repairs, and aligning with Front Desk for guest needs.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Address guest concerns and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Oversee weekly inventory management and supply ordering.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping, with a strong background in supervisory roles.
Prior experience with major hotel brands is a plus.
Exceptional leadership qualities, with a positive demeanor, approachability, and the ability to inspire and support our dedicated housekeeping team.
