To excel in the role of Full-Time LPN in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess essential skills and qualifications. A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the Virginia State Board of Nursing is a must, coupled with at least one year of experience in medication administration within substance abuse treatment, psychiatric settings, or long-term care facilities, including handling narcotic medications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are critical for success in this position. Additionally, a valid driver's license is required for community-based client support. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Virginia State Board of Nursing and one year of experience in medication administration in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility including the dispensing of narcotic medication.
• Valid drivers licenses.
