Hampton Roads Clinic (HRC) is committed to delivering a distinctive and specialized program designed for adults with an extensive history of reliance on opioids, encompassing prescription pain relievers, heroin, and morphine. Our all-encompassing outpatient care and recovery services are crafted for individuals diagnosed with opioid use disorder, featuring evidence-based medication like buprenorphine, administered by licensed healthcare professionals. Beyond medication, we provide a spectrum of psychosocial services, including counseling, peer support, care coordination, and connections to various social support resources, addressing the overall well-being of our clientele.
HRC is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become an integral part of our team. As an LPN at Hampton Shores Wellness Center, you will play a pivotal role in assisting individuals on their path to recovery from opioid dependence. Key duties involve Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment with Methadone, Psychosocial Services, Supportive Counseling, and meticulous Documentation and Record-Keeping.
Qualifications: Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Virginia State Board of Nursing, with a minimum of one year of experience in medication administration or within a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility, which includes the dispensing of narcotic medication.
