Looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working individual focused on patient care to join our team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Obtain and verify patient insurance information
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records (scripts, POC, etc.)
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes, Follow up on Outstanding claims
-Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10
- Familiarity with medical billing processes and insurance claims
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications, Prior WEBPT and or Kareo/Tebra a plus. Also proficient with Excell, Word, and google docs is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
