Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, inspecting, and supporting large and mid-cabin Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Hawker aircraft to ensure safety and compliance with FAA Part 91 regulations.

This role is critical to ensuring the airworthiness and operational efficiency of our domestic and international fleet. The Aviation Maintenance Technician works with minimal supervision, prioritizes well and efficiently manages your time.

Key Responsibilities :

Aircraft Maintenance :

• Ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained in accordance with the applicable FAA regulations, applicable service bulletins, AD’s operations specifications, and company manuals.
• Perform pre- and post-flight inspections and line maintenance.

Troubleshooting and Repair :

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired systems to verify proper operation.

Compliance and Documentation :

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
• Ensure all maintenance actions are documented in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies and are safeguarded from loss.

Safety and Quality Assurance :

• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure the highest level of safety and reliability.
• Be an advocate and active contributor of the Safety Management System (SMS).

Collaboration :

• Work closely with other maintenance staff, pilots, and operations personnel to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding maintenance issues and solutions.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical certification in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as an aviation maintenance technician.
• Certification : FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.

Skills :

• Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, including airframe, engines, avionics, and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
• Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces at heights and in adverse weather.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, and weekends, as needed.
• Must not have any conditions that preclude certification of aircraft run / taxi of aircraft and vehicles.
• May require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or passport if requested.
