Candidate Capability Requirements/Experience:

The position requires a technology background and prior computer system operations experience, including extensive knowledge of DCIM Environmental monitoring, and network cabling.

3 years related experience or the equivalent in combined education, training & experience, however, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of related work experience or equivalent in combined education, training & experience is preferred - years of experience may be counted towards a degree and an advanced degree may be used to count for years of experience.

Requires travel between Data-Center sites and the Capitol Hill campus.

Requires 24x7 on-call support and may require the ability to work shift hours to provide 24x7 days a week technical support for the House's information technology infrastructure.

Must be able to pass a background security clearance as deemed appropriate by management.
