The ideal candidate for the Floral Sales & Design Consultant position must have a passion for selling and working with wedding, social, & corporate clients. Qualified candidates will display an exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a team environment positive attitude. Although we are located at Normandy Farm, we also cater to floral event sales & design for the surrounding counties for off-site events.
Job DescriptionThe individual will work in tandem with all members of our team to sell and produce top-notch event floral and decor for a variety of social, non-profit, and corporate clients. The individual should be passionate and enthusiastic about floral design and sales.
We are open to discussing the flexibility of hours for part-time or full-time.

- Floral Sales and Customer Appointments
- Actively pursuing new leads and sales relationships
- Supporting the broader sales leadership and team initiatives
- Phone & in-person consultations
- Responding to customer web/social inquiries
- Floral Recipe Creation, Developing quotes and proposals
- Writing Contracts and following up to secure business
- Trade show/Exhibit Staffing
- Lead tracking and development
- Sales follow-up
- Venue Relationships

RequirementsDesired Qualifications
- Experience with floral sales and design within the event industry
- Experience developing sales proposals and quotes
- Experience crafting floral recipes
- Strong on-trend aesthetic; Best-in-class creativity
- Expert knowledge of floral design, flower varieties, and product care
- Ability to sell across market segments to social events, weddings, corporate clients, and non-profits
- Ability to conceptualize a design for an event that will meet the client's vision and budget while best utilizing our services and products
- An autonomous worker with decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Dedicated team-oriented individual who is enthusiastic and excited about helping to elevate a company to the next level
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to network and foster relationships
- Flexible individual with a passion for the event industry and sales
- Interest in event and floral trends
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding and excitement surrounding the small business culture
- Ability to lift and move items, up to 50 lbs.
- Floral & Event Design experience
- Previous related experience.
