Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to end-users by resolving hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Install, upgrade, and configure software applications and operating systems
• Assist with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity
• Implement and manage data backup procedures to ensure data security and recovery
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts, manage access permissions, and enforce security protocols
• Implement and maintain basic cybersecurity measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access control
• Keep accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and support requests
• Train employees on the use of IT systems and tools, as well as best practices for cybersecurity
• Respond to IT-related queries and issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level IT staff as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement, although an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Understanding of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically and efficiently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist end-users effectively
• Strong organizational skills to manage IT assets and documentation
• Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts and best practices
• Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals and departments within the organization
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA A or Network may be an advantage
• IT Associates should be open to learning new technologies and adapting to changing IT environments

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
