DescriptionThe Storeroom Clerk is responsible for the coordination and communication related to the flow of materials supporting maintenance, repairs, and operations. The clerk will be familiar with SAP and Microsoft office, maintain purchasing, receiving, and shipping records and perform other duties as specified by their supervisor.

- Order, issue, receive, and put-away inventory. Enters related data in SAP
- Ensure authorization, compliance, and correct documentation is present
- Process material returns and arrange shipping
- Coordinate engineering deliveries and receipts for projects and/or services
- Maintain daily reporting to monitor performance and file related documentation
- Deliver priority packages to maintenance planner/supervisor and materials to storeroom spaces
- Maintain storeroom spaces keeping them organized and clean
- Perform inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Confirm order and delivery information with vendors. Track delivery and communicate delivery changes by notifying management
- Serves as liaison between the company and supplier
- Assist in general maintenance support of plant
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
- Prior maintenance experience/mechanical background is strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mathematical skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel and SAP
- Able to communicate with offsite vendors and internal personnel via phone and email proficiently
- 6 Months purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing industry
- 6 Months as inventory or parts clerk, preferably in manufacturing industry
