Happy Harpeth Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Franklin, TN

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team!

In this role, you will work directly with dentists and patients to provide a variety of dental care services. This position requires experience performing coronal polishing procedures. Must also be willing to work in restorative when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists with procedures by preparing materials, sterilizing instruments, and handing off equipment.
  • Take dental X-rays.
  • Seat patients, prepare treatment rooms, and update patient charts.
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
  • Schedule recare appointments, chart treatment, complete chart notes.
  • Perform coronal polishing procedures on teeth to remove plaque, stains, and smooth tooth surfaces (requires state certification).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment environment.
  • Ensure patient comfort and answer questions throughout their visit.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed RDA in the state of Tennessee.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Coronal Polishing Certification
  • Sealants
  • Nitrous Oxide Monitoring
  • Minimum two years of experience as an RDA.
  • Experience performing coronal polishing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
