*Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
* The OTA would be required to go to the patients (children) home
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in conducting patient assessments and collecting relevant information
- Implement prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring and documenting progress during treatment sessions
- Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and home programs
- Assist in the use of therapeutic modalities and equipment during treatment sessions
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and modify individualized treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress
- Participate in team meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient progress
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow directions from Physical Therapists
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and participating in professional development activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
License/Certification:
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
